Thoughts On Transitions

Favorite Thoughts (Blog'niversary 3 Of 3 series)

Thoughts That Made Me Chuckle
By Popular Demand: like me my husband has many quirks. Unlike me though, having his photo taken is one of them. I noticed this already during his first visit to me in the Philippines. I think he developed this phobia for cameras when most of his photos show him with red eyes.
Sleeping Positions: this is mostly visual humor of my nephew and his weird but very comfortable looking sleeping positions. I could only envy the deep sleep a 2 year old is capable of doing, especially now that I'm a preggy mom-to-be and with all my middle of the night bathroom trips.
He's Baccccckkkk!: I just like looking at his photo on this entry, it captured his cheeriness and being full of innocent mischief. Plus the video link of Rohan learning to brush his teeth was quite hilarious.

My 2 year old nephew Rohan asleep. I wonder if toddlers are capable of getting stiff necks? Aren't those small chubby feet so biteable? If Tom heard me say that he'd ask me "what is it with filipinas and biting?"
Missing Person Report: it is one of those amusing situations in marriages when one of the partner goofs up. In this story I was the guilty party. I also had fun making the "poster" for this in Photoshop.

Thoughts That Brought Back Memories
Remember This?: more than 20 years later I remember this childhood game we used to play when I was a schoolgirl in the Philippines. I didn't know that it was also a game of american kids.
Momsie: This entry only captured a handful of my fun memories of/with my Mom but in writing the short article I had hoped it represented the everythingness of our relationship and her being a mother to me.
Missing In Action: somebody once asked me if I were to retain one single memory in my life what would it be. My answer was the picture the moving grass beneath my feet as I ran and ran on the grounds of our farm during my carefree childhood days. This talks a little about my life in the farm.
My Mini Adventures: The main topic for this entry reawakened memories I thought I had forgotten in my younger life. Writing them down gave me a chance to preserve a glimpse of the past. My way of making up to myself for not having a diary.

Thoughts That Celebrated My Marriage
Fireside Footsie: This was the first time my husband fully cooperated in the pictorial - since it was only going to be his feet that is going to be in it.
Diamonds They Fade: this entry was made when, a year and a half into our marriage, I fully realized that my long search for my Mr. Right was indeed over. I was finally with him.
I Heart Tom: I have always enjoyed telling people about how my unassuming husband proposed to me.
Perfect For Me: I love looking at my husband's Tom's face in this photo. It was a small part of a colored picture I took of him in Door Country which I then enlarged and did a couple special effects in Photoshop (soft edges, sepia tone). I thoroughly enjoyed doing it.

HI Anniston, I am from Leyte. You are from Cebu right? Finding Mr. Right is the greatest gift a woman can have. I also believe it's 2 way, that the woman plays an active role in the search (and elimination :) ) and prayers to God for guidance too. Good luck in yours.
